I knew I was meant to be an interior designer when I was a kid. I would peruse the real estate section of the newspaper for floor plans. I would study the floor plans and imagine how I would design the home. I built my own barbie house when I was a young girl complete with furnishings because I wanted something grander and unique. I have always had a  passion for creating glamorous interiors. I love helping people transform their space and transform their life. 

My first job after college was a flight attendant, I wanted to travel before settling down in my chosen career path. I’ve always loved travel and craved experiencing new places and new cultures. After my brief stint as a flight attendant ended,  I started my career in design. I was committed to using all of my vacation time for multiple trips a year, some domestic and some international. I learned how to travel smart and find luxury experiences without breaking the bank. After I had my daughter, I started traveling even more. I was committed not to let having a family stop me from traveling. I thought people who said, “wait until the kids are older to start traveling with them” was a myth that needed to be debunked. I am so happy to share that my family and I have visited Paris, London, Iceland, Mexico, and of course Disney all before my daughter has turned 7 years old. YES! It is possible. 

In 2014 I read Tim Ferris’s book The 4 Hour Workweek. His book opened up another lifestyle and a way of working smarter so that I  could enjoy life and travel before I retired. Sounds great right? After reading his book, I was determined to find a way to move overseas. It took 6 years, but I finally made that dream come true, by purchasing a home in Belize! 

After 15 years of working in residential and commercial interior design, overseeing furniture procurement, and project management, I am able to provide expert interior design and travel advice to someone who wants a quality and customized experience.
